To do this, they anticipate that finishing at their companies will be done entirely with powder and e-coat, and that they will continue to use prepainted coil for postforming. Not one mentioned coating blanks with powder on a horizontal line as a definite option. With one exception, however, all were intrigued with the potential of blank coating and thought it could have a future in their companies' finishing operations - if it can prove itself.
