The word value and the term value added have become marketing cliches in most of today's business arenas. As customers, we rarely even think about the meaning of the words when they are spoken by a marketing or salesperson. Most of us tend to interpret value as, I am about to be sold something that someone thinks I can't live without. We tend to interpret value added as, the product or service may have value beyond my ability to comprehend.
