Powder coating industry sees the light - the ultraviolet light

After more than a decade of speculating and experimenting, the powder coating industry has proved that its reach hasn't exceeded its grasp when it comes to ultra-violet-curable [UV-curable] powder technology.

Three commercial UV-curable powder coating lines have been installed in the past 2 years, nudging the industry into powder coating metal with heat-sensitive components and medium-density fiberboard [MDF].
