Freedom Finishing, Benton Harbor, Mich., sprays 135,000 pounds of powder coatings a year. The family owned job shop started in 1988 powder coating zinc and aluminum die castings. Over the first 5 years, the shop amassed a large customer base with an ample appetite for its coating services on an array of parts including office furniture, automotive stampings, aluminum extrusions, and miscellaneous stampings.
