EPA study of powder coating applicability for the small-business manufacturer—part I
Small-business manufacturers have difficulty investigating new technology because of their company size and budget restrictions. Through the Environmental Protection Agency's Environmental Technology initiative, the National Defense Center for Environmental Excellence, operated by Concurrent Technologies, has worked with a small business representative to show the applicability of powder coating.
The project studied critical factors affecting cost, quality and production.
