Scott Andrews was so impressed with what a custom powder coater could do for his automotive and furniture parts, he bought the company 5.5 years ago.

Andrews is president on Andrews Powder Coating, a 17.5-year-old business in Chatsworth, Calif., a suburb of Los Angeles. Andrews describes his business as a custom shop that specialises in short production runs and custom works in mixed metals. Commercially, the shop serves mainly the medical, audio, and precision sheet metal industries.
