DuPont celebrated its bicentennial recently and is focusing more of its efforts on its powder coatings division.

July marked a milestone for DuPont as the company celebrated its 200th anniversary. In 2 centuries, the company has grown from a gunpowder manufacturer located by the Brandywine River in Pennsylvania into a global enterprise operating in 70 countries.
