Spray-wand system cleans up job shop's pretreatment process
A job shop coater swaps hand-wiping parts for a two-stage spray-wand pretreatment system, not only saving time, labor and disposal costs but also allowing for futute growth with a process that's as easy as reciting the alphabet
ABC Coating, a job shop in Anaheim, Calif., coats frames, cabinets and panels for manufacturers of computers, semi-conductors and microchips. The company started in October 1994, working in a 5,000-square-foot plant in Orange, Calif. With business increasing every year, the coater outgrew the plant and relocated to its current 18,000-square-foot plant in Anaheim.
