In the 2 decades since electrostatic powder spraying equipment was introduced, application systems have become smaller, less expensive, and more efficient. As this article discusses, if powder is to continue to grow, application equipment suppliers must develop systems that offer better first-pass transfer efficiency and faster color change than those now on the market.
