Troubleshooting the pretreatment system
Pretreatment is a complex process. Consequently, coating failures that are related to inadequate pretreatment are rarely the result of a single, obvious cause.
Instead, they are usually caused by several small deviations from the chemical supplier's recommendations for controlling chemical solution quality and from the equipment supplier's recommendations for maintaining the equipment properly.
