Located in a place famous for its jingling slot machines and glitzy shows, a Nevada job shop stages a successful production of its own - a powder shop that provides paybacks with its growing customer base.
While many have been lured to Reno and Sparks, Nev., to try their luck at poker tables and roulette wheels, Liam Campbell came to town in 1986 with some else in mind. He decided to put his money on powder coating, setting up his job shop, Sierra Powder Coating, in Sparks after his father retired from the family's California job shop, where Liam started learning the finishing process as a teen.
