In-line, real-time stripping of organic coatings
Molten-salt stripping is well-known for its speed and thoroughness in batch-type cleaning applications. Now, the use of this technology for stripping hooks and racks in-line and at normal line speeds has been proved in a half-dozen industrial installations.
Molten-salt stripping provides numerous benefits. Besides listing these benefits, this paper discusses the importance of stripping, different methods of stripping, the speed of stripping, integration of in-line stripping, and economics of in-line stripping.
