Employed both as base resins and as curing agents, epoxies are one of the largest-volume materials used in powder coatings manufacturing.
The powders they produce have many desirable properties for coating products for indoor use. They are exceptionally hard, produce both thick and thin films, and cure successfully at a wide range of temperatures. Their chief drawback is their tendency to turn yellow during curing.
