A foundry installs a powder coating line to become a one-stop shop for its customers but finds one with a masking request that makes automatic powder application impossible. Instead of hanging it up, the foundry turns to a fixture designer who makes the impossible, possible.
Watry Industries, Sheboygan, Wis., manufacturing aluminum castings. Started in 1954 as a foundry in Cambellsport, Wis., the company now employs 150 people. Its customers include Ford, Kohler, and Mercury Marine.
