Vehicle windowmaker takes pains to perfect aluminum extrusion coating
After several years experimenting, a window manufacturer for recreational vehicles finds a no-fail method to coat its aluminum-extruded window frames - coat the extrusions before forming the windows.
Since the early 1980's, the Canadian company Sunview Industries, Summerland, British Columbia, has made windows or recreational vehicles, houseboats, semitrailers, and buses. During the manufacturing process, employees bend aluminum extrusions into 60 types of window frames.
