This coater's business is the perfect profile of what a lot of faith and an emphasis on quality can do

Despite an uncertain economy, a Minnesota powder coating company finds itself overburdened with orders. To keep up with current demand and attract new customers, the company adds a third powder coating line, increasing not only production, but also customer satisfaction.

In 1993, Profile Powder Coating left its plant in Osseo, Minn., for the then wide-open spaces of Rogers, Minn. It left behind a plant it had outgrown and a finishing method its customers no longer wanted - liquid baked enamels - to move to a 20,000-square-foot plant where it applied powder coatings on a 600-foot-long conveyorized line. Location and cost prompted the move. Right along Interstate Highway 94, the site offered the coater and its customers easy access to one another. "Now, it's a heavy manufacturing area with plants all around us."
