Treadmill maker steps up production by changing powder-booths

A Utah-based treadmill manufacturer's powder-booth changeover isn't an exercise in futility: It walks away with added color-change capability-and a big leap in production.

If you work at home rather than at a gym, you probably literally run across products made and powder coated by ICON Health & Fitness. For more than 10 years, the company has fabricated powder coated, and assembled the Proform Weslo brands of flip up, space-saving treadmills at its 187,000-square-foot plant in Logan, Utah.
