Electrical products company plugs into powder coating in Mexico
A Tennessee-based manufacturer of electrical parts charges up its international presence by building a powder coating line at its Mexican plant. The move increases production rates and costing quality.
Thomas and Betts, based in Memphis, Tenn., has manufactured and finished zinc and aluminum die cast electrical products for most of its 100 years in business. Its weatherproof division forms the products into exterior floodlight housings and outlet boxes for homes and garages.
