PCI inducts four powder coating pioneers into its hall of fame; reports 2001 trade-show shortfall
Four pioneers in the powder coating industry were inducted into the Powder Coating Institute's newly established Hall of Fame at the institute's annual meeting, held in May.
Inductees were Gordon Cole, Ron Farrell, Sam Dawson, and John Brvenik. Cole, owner of GCA Associates, a coatings consulting firm, was a charter PCI member and its first staff person, serving as executive secretary from 1981 to 1984. He also served on the institute's board of directors and on several committees and working groups.
