Company celebrates 25 years of coating thickness measurement innovation
Fischer Technology gauges where it’s been and where it’s going by celebrating its silver anniversary this year.
Today, a manager of a powder coating job shop can hand a small electronic handheld device to an employee and without any training reduce materials cost and improve work quality. In addition, the device can take and store coating thickness readings in groups, compile complete statistical data for each group or part, and transfer that data to a computer or laptop up to 60 feet away with a wireless radio transmitter and radio receiver. (See Figure 1). Pretty amazing if one stops to think about
it. Fischer Technology thinks about solving coating thickness measurement challenges every day and has
been doing it now for years. This year, the company celebrates its 25th anniversary as a manufacturer of coating thickness gauges and material testing equipment.
