Special considerations for designing a powder coating line

You may be one of them. If so, chances are good that you're not new to finishing and that you have experience in liquid coating. You may be considering one of the following: [1] converting totally from liquid to powder coating, [2] adding a powder line to your liquid operation, or [3] renovating your liquid line to increase capacity but thinking of powder for the long term. No matter what your situation, be aware of the fact: To be compatible with powder, all the major system components- conveyors, washers, and ovens- will have to be designed differently from the way they would be for a liquid system.
