A tale of two powder coaters
From a job shop that opened in the seventies with one line and now has eight to a shop that opened in the nineties, and has grown from one to three systems, these two shops have a common denominator: Family. A father runs the former and his son the latter.
If you were to drive from upstate New York starting at Canajoharie with Rock Hill, S.C., as your destination, the road trip would cover 840 miles and take approximately 13 hours. But if you wanted to learn about two custom coaters based in these respective cities, the journey covers almost 30 years and spans two generations of the Wright family.
