Preparing brass for clear powder coatings

One of the toughest jobs in powder coating is preparing polished brass ware to receive a clear powder coating.

Even the slightest trace of chemical residue on the polished brass, or the smallest water spot, is visible through the clear coating. In addition, the clear coating seems to act like a magnifying glass, highlighting surface imperfections beneath it.
